Charities

Every year Young Voices selects a special charity to work alongside. The selected charity mirrors the values and goals of Young Voices – that music enhances life, that children deserve the best, and that teachers should be encouraged and supported so that they can develop an understanding of music in the children they inspire.

Over the past 25+ years, over £2 million has been donated to the following charities:

  • Place2Be
  • Nordoff Robbins
  • CLIC Sargent
  • Barnardo’s
  • FareShare
  • Save the Children
  • Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital
  • Children in Crisis
  • Music for Life (a.k.a. The African Children’s Choir)
  • Teenage Cancer Trust

Young Voices was proud to partner with Place2Be for our 2024 concert series.

One in six children have a diagnosable mental health condition. That’s 5 children in every classroom.

Place2Be is one of the UK’s leading children’s mental health charities, working with schools to reach hundreds of thousands of children every year through services like counselling. Place2Be give children a safe place where they can open up, so that problems don’t grow with them.

Together, we’re hoping to raise over £50,000 so that Place2Be can continue to be there for children when they need it most.
