Young Voices (UK) Ltd – Terms & Conditions (2011-12)
Concert tickets, cancellations and postponements
Young Voices tickets are non-refundable. Should a concert be postponed due to unforeseen circumstances then tickets will be valid for the rescheduled date only. Please note that those people who cannot attend the re-scheduled concert date for whatever reason will be required to give us acceptable period of notice for the re-sale of tickets (to be published in the event of postponement). Only if we can resell the tickets will we be able to give a full refund.
All schools need to be aware that we only cancel concerts if more than 30% of schools cannot attend due to severe weather, unexpected epidemic or extraordinary situations. In the event of bad weather there are various options to consider:
1) Give early options to your bus company….they may be able to make alternative options, such as collecting from a central point.
2) In the past some parents have chosen to deliver their children to the Arena. At least one teacher must be in charge of their choir whilst at the arena. However, schools may appoint other adults/parents to assist with the children but should always be guided by the school’s own child protection rules, risk assessments and Health and safety procedures.
3) The safety of the children is paramount in all decisions.
T-Shirts
Children, teachers and all those involved in the school choir on the day are encouraged to wear the official Young Voices T-Shirt, (especially as this year we have a special design, celebrating our 15th Year). Otherwise everyone must wear a plain white T-shirt.
Please ensure you leave plenty of time to place your order, as Young Voices (UK) Ltd cannot guarantee the delivery on time for your concert of orders placed after the deadline (as listed in the information pack).
DVDs
Although every care is taken to try and video all of our choir members (and teachers), there may be instances where this is not achieved. We pride ourselves on including a huge number of choir members but please forgive us if a pupil does not appear on the DVD. Young Voices Concert DVDs are non-refundable.
Permission Slips
Teachers must ensure that every child returns a permission slip for involvement in Young Voices Concerts.
Young Voices reserves the right to ask you to supply all your permission slips for reference and may do so as part of its annual auditing procedures.
Television & Media (inc Young Voices DVD)
Young Voices (UK) Ltd actively seeks publicity and media coverage. Any part of the concert & rehearsal (before and after) may be filmed/recorded by Young Voices or any other local/national media/press and used to promote Young Voices or for use in the Young Voices Official DVD.
Collections after the show
Young Voices (UK) Ltd is not responsible for the arrangements made by teachers after the concert. This is the responsibility of the school.
