Dear Young Voices Team
Many congratulations on another super Young Voices concert. Our 165 children and 353 parents all thoroughly enjoyed it!!
Several parents told me it was aazing and well worth the money so that is good to hear. Thank you to you all for your hard work in organising such a wonderful event for our children. It was very exciting for them being filmed for the One Show too even though you couldn’t see us on it!!!
This was my tenth concert and they seem to get better every year. The staff all felt that we had much more room in the arena before and after the concert and that it wasn’t as congested when we left as it always seemed at the end at the NIA so I think it was a good decision to move it to the LG Arena. It was much easier finding the coaches afterwards than it was at the NIA too.
Can I just pass on a concern from a few parents. They were not very happy that All Angels suggested that the children go on Facebook or Twitter after the show as obviously you are supposed to be 15 to go on these sites and a large majority of the children are much younger. I just thought I should mention it for future concerts.
Anyway, good luck with all the other concerts and please pass on my congratulations to David Lawrence for his boundless energy and enthusiasm, Craig for the wonderful music and David and Ben Lewis for all their hard work.
Wishing you all a restful Christmas when it comes.
Best wishes

Dear All,
Just had to write to say a HUGE THANK YOU for another fantastic day. Birmingham 25/11/10.
This was our 4th Young Voices and it was the best…not just because we went on live TV but I have to say the change of venue really made it for me.
I was a little nervous, felt I was going into the unknown as I have never been to NEC before and you get relaxed with what you know, however I need not have worried… The facilities inside were great, far more toilets and the seating comfortable. Also every steward was helpful, and I have to say chatted to the kids freely.
So thank you Young Voices as always great music, great fun…bringing out 25 key stage 2 kids has never been so enjoyable.
Looking forward to next year already.
Best wishes

Dear David and the YV Team,
Having recently arrived home from dropping our children off after the Manchester concert, am just reflecting on the invaluable contribution your concerts make to the musical, emotional and social lives of our children. The boys and girls work so hard during the Autumn term to familiarise themselves with all the new songs and tonight was a real reward and celebration of their huge efforts in school.
A few have been able to seriously practise at home using the CD or the internet but most of the work is done in school obviously. The concert has this year, even more than usual brought out the best in our boys and girls-they showed real support, care and affection for each other tonight and are rightly proud of themselves. It is wonderful to think that most of the hard graft is done and we can look forward to singing many of the songs in the four or five other concerts that we give in the community each year. In two weeks we will be singing for the blind at Christopher Grange in Liverpool where an Annual Christmas concert is an essential part of our festive season.
Words cannot express the joy and enthusiasm the children bring to Manchester; equally it is difficult to find adequate praise and thanks for the inestimable effort you and the Young Voices Team put in each year to ensure the magnificent success which characterises each and every concert. We are very proud to take part.
From all of us at Alt Bridge, huge thanks and very best wishes for Christmas and the New Year.
