PR (Public Relations) is a great way of getting your school and your choir known in your community and wider afield. We want to do all we can to get help you grab their interest so please take advantage of the step-by-step guide below along with the resources in the left hand menu (under “Press Pack”).

Stage 1 – call your local press, tv and radio station & tell them what you are involved in
Stage 2 – send over the young voices press release with stats (how many pupils are involved from your school) and other information
Stage 3 – take a photo of your school in choir rehearsal and email it to your contact
Stage 4 – invite media along to the school to see the choir in rehearsal and talk to pupils about their involvement
Stage 5 – direct your contact to the young voices media centre for more information
Stage 6 – wait for your coverage to run
